Payment Tool
This tool manages all kind of payment to vendors after completion of any purchase order
This tool is for maintaining commercial invoice which is responsible for raising and calculating payment to vendor.
It was an legacy application built in JSP. Users who were maintaining purchase orders, invoices and US Duty, facing issue with old application which was pretty slow and not user friendly. So we planned to migrate the whole application into Angular js.
Roles and Responsibility :
Created APIs and integrated with frontend along with designing pages using existing components. Developed Batch application using Spring Batch which generate daily item feed to provide vendor. Also developed Kafka consumer to read HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule, US) details for each item from Vendor side MQ and save data in noSQL DB (MongoDB). Worked on an application which calculates the duty using Drool Engine and publish data using API.
